人とテクノロジーが共創する実験的ライブエンターテイメントの楽器デザイン
「Physical Twin Symphony」は、万博の幕開けを飾るオープニングプログラムとして、まだ、誰も見たことの無いライブパフォーマンスの未来を観客と出演者が共に体感出来る世界初となるライブエンターテイメントです。テクノロジーによって、人間が身体・脳・空間・時間の制約から解放され、「自分ではないもう一つの身体」を現実世界に出現させ、自身の能力を最大限に発揮したり、多様な人々の多彩な技能や経験を共有できる技術の総称を「Physical Twin Symphony」と名付けられています。 「Physical Twin Symphony」は、すべての人がクリエイターになれる未来、例えどんな環境にいながらも多様な人々の多彩な技能や経験を共有できる技術、人とテクノロジーが共創する実験的ライブエンターテイメント。SHUTO SAKAI DESIGNでは、Physical Twin Symphonyの4種類の楽器デザインを担当しました。 だれでも演奏に参加できるPT2030と連動している楽器型デバイス（ギター、ストリングス、ブラス）では、リズムを刻むシンプルな操作だけで音楽の知識やスキルがない人でも、その場ですぐにステージに立ってプロのミュージシャンと並んで緊張感を持ちながらセッションして自らの表現で音楽を生み出すことに参加できます。

"Physical Twin Symphony" is the opening program of the Expo, and is the world's first live entertainment where audiences and performers can experience the future of live performance that no one has ever seen before. "Physical Twin Symphony" is the general name for technologies that free humans from the constraints of the body, brain, space, and time, and allow "another body that is not one's own" to appear in the real world, maximize one's abilities, and share the diverse skills and experiences of diverse people. "Physical Twin Symphony" is an experimental live entertainment that depicts a future where everyone can become a creator, a technology that allows diverse people to share their diverse skills and experiences no matter what environment they are in, and co-created by people and technology. SHUTO SAKAI DESIGN was in charge of designing the four musical instruments for Physical Twin Symphony. The instrument devices (guitar, strings, brass) that work in conjunction with the PT2030 allow anyone to join in on the performance. With just the simple operation of keeping rhythm, even people with no musical knowledge or skill can instantly take to the stage and jam alongside professional musicians, creating music through their own expression.
